I like that this is a thicker material than any other durag I've owned. t's soft and well stitched. I have an admittedly big head (female), so on my head it looks much different than the picture. but the ties are nice and long and I have enough room to fit my twists inside comfortably, I don't use it for compression; just an alternative to silk scarves/bonnets. I love it.
